buying house from family financeA customer recently approached us wanting to buy a property from their parents at a discounted rate, and did not have funds available for a deposit, or for stamp duty.

As their parents were willing to provide some flexibility surrounding the purchase price of their property, we were able to assist our customer, without them having to jump through hoops to demonstrate a history of savings to the bank.

We were able to achieve a loan approval for them, and this loan amount even included covering stamp duty, an unavoidable government fee.

Our customers were extremely pleased that they were able to achieve this goal with the help of their parents. We successfully assisted them to determine how much the bank would allow them to borrow, and advised them and their parents, so that they could make an informed decision before we put the loan application through!
