81% Of Borrowers Would Use A Broker To Upgrade Their Property

According to a recent survey from a major Australian lender, 81% of respondents would use a mortgage broker when upgrading their home. The financial side of selling and buying can be quite stressful, so a little help can go along way.

Selling and Buying

In most cases, if you are looking to upgrade your home, you are probably looking at selling your exisiting house or unit first. This can provide additional stresses, unless you are in a position to move in with relatives after the sale, whilst you take the time to look for your next dream home.

It is very important to have your pre approval in place for your new home, before you sell your existing property. Many rules and polices have changed across all lenders in recent years. Just because your bank gave you a loan before, does not guarantee they will give you the same amount, even if your finances are exactly the same!

At Bee Finance Savvy, we have access to over 30 lenders and can compare which lenders will suit your needs and are more likely to approve your loan. We have access to the policies and calculators that the credit assessors in each bank will use, and we can review this information for you before putting any applications in, so you know upfront where you stand.

Communicating With All Parties Involved

When selling then buying is your goal, and you need to do this simultaneously, it is important to have an understanding broker, conveyancer or solicitor and realtor. All parties need to communicate and work together to ensure that everything will go smoothly on the day of the big move. Your conveyancer will ensure that the buyers bank is ready, regarding the property you are selling, and that the seller of your new property is also ready on the same day. If this is not possible then your options will be discussed with you. For example, some removalists offer to hold your goods overnight for a small additional fee.

With all of this going on, its no wonder that a team of skilled professionals is the preferred choice for customers wishing to sell and buy.

Our brokerage will do all the tricky work for you. From assessing your income and expenses the right way, to advising you of your borrowing capacity, and making sure that every step is carried out correctly – we’ve got you covered. Whilst communicating openly with your conveyancer and realtor is also essential to ensuring that this process goes as smoothly as possible.

We understand that during this time, the last thing you need is to be declined or delayed for a home loan. So we go over
